Swordtails

Swordtails are in the livebearer section of the fish world. Prolific parents, bright body colors, and easy to raise they are among the stars of the community tank. Swordtails originally a drab green color with long tail fin shaped like a sword, have been bred into a large variiety of colors that sparkle in the tank. If you are interested in lots of babies a mix of 1 male to 2 or 3 females will keep your well planted tank with lots of small hiding places stocked. If your are more interested in a real show tank stock it with handsome males. (Not all items in stock. Special ordering available.)
